I had just left my local Big Y after grabbing some groceries when a friend of mine passed me on the road, frantically honking his horn. He texted me about half an hour later to ask me if I saw what had happened at the grocery store. I hadn't. Seems a big - yet bony - lumbering Lab mix came wobbling toward the chain, only to fall over. A good Samaritan scooped the pooch up, placed her in their car, and got it to a shelter. There are long days ahead for the dog, while the outpouring of attention in the community has been amazing. Phone calls, food and blanket donations, etc. There is also a thirst for justice, too, however. Does anyone know the "owner" of this clearly neglected dog?
