An enjoyable trip to Oxford Wednesday- Girls Softball - Shepaug Valley at Oxford; I knew runs and hits would be at a premium in this contest - 2 outstanding pitchers - Amelia Jacob from Shepaug and Shay Webb from Oxford
The 2 teams combined for 1 run and 6 hits - Final Score Oxford 1 Shepaug 0(first loss of the year for Shepaug)
The only run of the game came in the bottom of the 6th inning - a walk and an RBI DOUBLE from Maddie DeSombre and that was it
