Nick Saban Retires; UCONN Men & Women Win; Celtics Win; HS Scoreboard

Nick Saban, legendary football at Alabama, announced his retirement on Wednesday. Saban won 7 National Championships, 12 Conference Championships and won 19 Bowl Games. Saban holds the record for most first round NFL players produced with 49 and has produced at least one first round pick in 15 consecutive drafts, another record. Saban had 297 victories, which ranks 5th on the all time college football list.

The UCONN Men defeated Xavier 80-75 in Cincinnati Wednesday night. Cam Spencer had 19 points for UCONN, ranked 4th in the nation.

The UCONN Women beat Providence 85-41. Ashlynn Shade had 17 points for UCONN.
