In MLB Monday, the Yankees were crushed by the Atlanta Braves 11-3. Isiah Kiner-Falefa had 3 hits and an rbi and Anthony Volpe had 2 hits and an rbi for New York. Atlanta scored 1 run in the 1st, 3 runs in the 2nd and 4 runs in the 3rd, to put the game away early.
The Mets beat the Pirates 7-2. Brandon Nimmo, Daniel Vogelbach and Jonathan Arauz all homered for the Mets.
The Red Sox had Monday off.
