What a tremendous game and a great Championship Series - one of the best in a long time
Tied 1-1 in extra innings, Penn. scored 2 runs in the top of the 9th to take a 3-1 lead; BUT - Ariella DiOrio hit a 2 run Home Run(her 2nd HR in 2 games) that tied the game at 3-3
Penn. scored 2 runs in the top of the 10th to take a 5-3 lead; BUT the never say die Milford team did it again - with 1 out consecutive singles by Julia Scibek, Lily Stankevich and Gabby Rodriguez made it 5-4 AND then Abby Corris singled in the game winning runs for a pulsating 6-5 win - and a trip to the Junior Softball World Series in Kirkland, Washington
