MLB is in their All Star Break and Monday night, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Toronto Blue Jays) defeated Randy Arozarena (Tampa Bay Rays) 25-23 to win the Home Run Derby. Guerrero's Dad won the the Home Run Derby in 2007, the Guerreros become the first ever father-son duo to win the Home Run Derby.
The All Star Game will be played Tuesday night in Seattle. Gerrit Cole (New York Yankees) will start for the American League.
Zone 2 Senior Legion
A family trip to Meriden Monday night to see Meriden and North Haven(funny it was North Haven's Home Game).
It was a close game throughout but North Haven scored a run in the 5th inning and beat Meriden 2-1. Brayden Golden was the winning pitcher. Shaun Murray got the Save.
Murray also had a big night at the plate with a double and 2 singles. Michael Brandt had an rbi for North Haven as well.
Griffin Papallo had the Meriden rbi.

Orange 11 Branford 1; Milford 2 Max Sinoway(North Haven) 0
Orange will play Milford for the District 4 Championship Wednesday night in Orange. I will be there.
