The UCONN Women's Basketball Team defeated Xavier 60-51 Monday night. Aaliyah Edwards had 19 points for UCONN. The Lady Huskies finished the regular season 26-5. They will now head to the Big East Tournament.

Game 1 Hillhouse led Jonathan Law 17-13 after 1 Quarter and never trailed as the Academics beat the Lawmen 56-49. Thomas Glover led Hillhouse with 27 points.
John Neider led Law with 17 points.
Game 2 Notre Dame(WH) had a 17-14 lead on Fairfield Prep after 1 quarter, led 36-24 at the Half, and cruised to a 79-48 win over the Jesuits. Mekhi Conner led the Green Knights with 29 points. Tajae Jones added 17 points.
Michael Iannazzo had 16 points and Tom Scholl 15 points for Prep.
CIAC Girls State Tournament:
Class LL West Haven, Trumbull, Ridgefield and Fairfield Warde all advanced
Class L: Hillhouse, North Haven, Masuk and St. Joseph all advanced
Class L: Lyman Hall was eliminated
Class MM: Hand, East Haven, Berlin, Wolcott, Watertown, Rocky Hill all advanced
Class MM : Branford was eliminated
