Thursday's Broadcast - Boys BB Wilbur Cross at Hillhouse - intra-city rivalry at its best - great crowd - great excitement - everyone was treated to a great game - but when the dust settled - Wilbur Cross defeated Hillhouse 72-60
Hillhouse led 25-20 after 1 quarter, but the lead vanished in quarter 2 when Cross outscored Hillhouse 17-8; the 2nd half was nip and tuck for awhile, with several lead changes, but the Governors hit some big shots late and came out with a 12 point win.
Christian McClease led Cross with 23 points, Elijah Guillaume and Jamel Lee each had 17 points in the victory.
Nikai Brooks led the Academics with 17 points while Thomas Glover had 12 points and Eric Jones had 11 points.
