A trip to Wally World Thursday, girls softball, Guilford visiting Lyman Hall. It seems every time I go there, there's a lot of runs and hits. No exception Thursday.
Guilford won their 9th straight game beating the Trojans 16-8.
The 2 teams combined for 24 runs, 26 hits, 11 errors and 15 left on base.
13 of the 24 runs were scored in the 1st inning! It was 9-4 Guilford after 1.
For Guilford - Allie Petonito hit a Grand Slam Home Run, and added a triple, 4 rbis, Ella Munson had 3 hits, scored 2 runs and had 2 rbis, Sam Green had 2 rbis, and Ava Singleton had 3 hits and 2 rbis
For Lyman Hall - Alana Peruti had 2 hits and an rbi, Keera Reed had 3 hits and 3 rbis, Kaylin Findley had 2 hits and an rbi and Callie Chordas had 3 hits and an rbi
Fielding wise, not one for the clinic, but a very entertaining game.
