And what a dandy it was - 2 very good teams Amistad #16 seed, Amity #17 seed
Amistad led 15-13 after 1 quarter, but Amity outscored Amistad 15-10 in the 2nd quarter and took a 28-25 lead at Halftime.
But the Wolves of Amistad came out firing in quarter 3 and after 3 led 40-34. Amistad built up a 13 point lead, but the Spartans were not done. They put on a furious comeback, and had 2 shots in the final 5 seconds to try and tie the game, but the rally fell short and Amistad had a 65-62 win.
57 Foul Shots were taken in the game - 41 of them in the 4th quarter!
For Amistad, Aden Goffe led the way with 28 points and Arion Robinson added 13 points for the Wolves.
For Amity, Micah Morgan had 17 points, Jack Pretlove had 12 points and Martin Zhang had 11 points for the Spartans.
Amistad moves on to the 2nd Round to play at Bristol Central.
