Thursday's Broadcast - Boys Basketball - SCC Tournament 1st Round - #12 Hamden at #5

The Green Dragons got off to a good start, leading the Blue Devils 14-7 after 1 quarter. Hamden got in some foul trouble and had some turnovers, but still led 34-29 at Halftime.
As I have said so many times, the 3rd quarter can be the deciding quarter and West Haven had a tremendous 8 minutes, outscoring Hamden 19-10 to take a 48-44 lead after 3.
The 4th quarter became a foul shooting contest, especially for West Haven, as they took 20 foul shots, and won going away 73-60.
For the game, there were 59 foul shots taken, 41 by West Haven and 18 by Hamden. West Haven was 24 for 41 and Hamden was 11-18.
For West Haven, Tavares Tuck had 23 points(12 from the foul line), Randy Alston Brown had 20 points off the bench, and Manny Belcher had 14 points.
For Hamden, Elijah Holder had 16 points and Caleb Harris had 10 points
