Wednesday's Broadcast - Boys Basketball - Branford at East Haven - and it was a dandy in Eastieville.
Branford edged East Haven 46-44 in a game that came down to the last shot!
It was tied at 10 after 1 quarter, but Branford led 26-20 at the Half. The Yellow Jackets had a great 3rd quarter and took a 37-35 lead heading into quarter #4.
But the Hornets came back in that 4th quarter and nipped the Easties 46-44. East Haven missed a 3 point shot in the final seconds that would have won the game.
Jake Palluzzi led the Hornets with 33 points - he scored 71.7% of Branford's points. He had 7 3's, 3 2's, and 6 foul shots.
David McDonald had 6 points for Branford.
Branford took 11 foul shots in the game and Palluzzi took 10 of them.
For East Haven, Ron Calderon had 12 points, all in the 2nd Half, Shea Carasone and Kyle Cusano had 9 points each for the Yellow Jackets.
Branford is 16-3, East Haven is 11-8.
