Cheshire, 4-3, coached by Don Drust, come off a 32-0 drubbing of Norwich Free Academy. The Rams are currently ranked #13 in the Class L Division. Their 2 remaining games after West Haven are no picnic either - Shelton and Southington on Thanksgiving Day. But the Rams are a good football team and they would like nothing better than to put a crimp in the Blue Devils playoff hopes.
West Haven, 6-1, coached by Rich Boshea, come off a 27-20 win over intra-city rival ND(WH). The Blue Devils are currently ranked #7 in the Class LL Division. Their 2 remaining games - Wilbur Cross and Fairfield Prep on Thanksgiving Eve. If West Haven can pull off a victory against the Rams, they could possibly make the LL Playoffs even if they lose one of their last 2 games. A loss and the Blue Devils would need to win their last 2 games.
