The regular season ended in Major League Baseball on Sunday and when the smoke cleared, the Yankees and Red Sox both won and will meet in the AL Wild Card Game on Tuesday at Fenway Park.
The Yankees beat the Rays 1-0. Aaron Judge knocked in the game winning rbi for New York.
The Red Sox beat the Nationals 7-5. Rafael Devers hit a tie breaking 2 run Home Run to win it for Boston.
The St. Louis Cardinals will play the Los Angeles Dodgers Wednesday in Los Angeles in the NL Wild Card Game.
The Mets lost to the Braves 5-0. The Mets finished 77-85.
In the NFL Sunday, the Giants beat the Saints 27-21 in Overtime. Saquon Barkley scored the game winning touchdown for New York. Giants QB Daniel Jones was 28 for 40 for 400 yards and a touchdown.
The Jets also won in Overtime beating the Titans 27-24. Jets QB Zach Wilson was 22 for 35 for 307 yards 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.
It is the 1st time in NFL History the Giants and Jets both won in Overtime on the same day.
The Patriots lost to Tom Brady and the Bucs 19-17. Patriots QB Mac Jones was 31 for 41 for 275 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Bucs QB Tom Brady was 22 for 43 for 269 yards and no touchdowns.
