In MLB Thursday, the Yankees lost to the White Sox in the Field of Dreams Game in Iowa 9-8 on a walk-off Home Run by Tim Anderson in the bottom of the 9th inning.
The Yankees had taken an 8-7 lead in the top of the 9th on two 2 run Home Runs by Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton. Judge had 2 Home Runs in the game. Brett Gardner also homered for New York.
The Red Sox lost to the Rays 8-1. Rafael Devers drove in the lone Red Sox run.
The Mets swept a Doubleheader and the series from the Nationals 4-1 and 5-4. Brandon Nimmo homered and had 4 rbis in Game 1 and Pete Alonso hit a walk-off game winning Home Run in Game 2.
