In MLB Wednesday, the Yankees defeated the Phillies 6-5 in 10 innings. Rougned Odor and Gleyber Torres homered for New York. Ryan LaMarre singled home the game winning run in the 10th inning.
The Red Sox beat the Blue Jays 7-4. Enrique Hernandez, Rafael Devers, J.D. Martinez, Hunter Renfroe and Michael Chavis all homered for Boston.
The Mets shutout the Reds 7-0. Dominic Smith(grand slam), Jonathan Villar and Luis Guillorme all homered for the Mets.

The USA Softball Team won their 1st game beating Italy 2-0. Cat Osterman was the winning pitcher. She had 9 strikeouts. The USA lost the Championship Game 3-1 to Japan at the 2008 Beijing Games.
