Pete Alonso Repeats as Home Run Derby Champ

Pete Alonso of the New York Mets defeated Trey Mancini of the Baltimore Orioles to win the Home Run Derby Monday night at Coors Field in Colorado.

Alonso hit 23 Home Runs in the Final Round to win it. Mancini hit 22 Home Runs.

Alonso joins Ken Griffey, Jr. and Yoenis Cespedes as the only players to win back to back Home Run Derbys.

Juan Soto of the Washington Nationals hit the longest Home Run in All Star History in the 1st Round - 520 feet!

The All Star Game takes place Tuesday night.

Shohei Ohtani (Angels) will start for the American League and Max Scherzer(Nationals) will start for the National League.
