I made a solo trip to West Haven Wednesday night to take in North Haven at West Haven. It was a well played game by both teams and both pitchers threw strikes.
In the end, West Haven got key hits and beat North Haven 3-0. Dylan Supan was the winning pitcher, a complete game performance, and had 7 strikeouts. He walked only 1 batter.
Offensively for West Haven - Dan Izzo had a double, triple and scored 2 runs, Tyler Jones had a single and a SAC Fly, Michael Boni had a SAC Fly, and Dylan Supan had a double and rbi.
For North Haven - Tyler Harger and Michael Brandt had 2 hits each. Alex Bauman pitched magnificently in defeat.
West Haven is 3-0, North Haven 0-4.
Hamden dealt Madison their 1st loss of the season winning 6-0. Jake Jovia was the winning pitcher and he had 2 hits. Jack Wagner had 2 hits, including a double, Malcolm Benton had 2 hits, including a triple and Brayden Sullivan chipped in with a double.
Madison is 5-1, Hamden 3-3.
