The CIAC State Baseball and Softball Tournaments have reached the Quarterfinal Stage. Softball will play Friday and Saturday and Baseball will play on Saturday.
Some of the matchups for the area teams are:
Softball
Class L: Foran at Masuk; East Haven at Waterford; Naugatuck at St. Joseph
Class M: Ellington at Seymour; Watertown at Granby; Wolcott at woodland;
Jonathan Law at North Branford
Class S: Cromwell at ND(Ffld); Ansonia at Shepaug; Thomaston at Coginchaug
Baseball
Class L: Bethel at Hand; Lyman Hall at North Haven
Class M: Sheehan at Waterford; Bacon Academy at Woodland
Class S: Immaculate at North Branford; Holy Cross at Coginchaug
The winners will advance to the Semifinals beginning on Monday.
