The Broadcasts get better and better - case in point - Monday Night - Guilford at West Haven in Girls Softball.
West Haven led 1-0 after 1 on an rbi single from Julianna Petruzziello(3 hits). Guilford tied it at 1 in the 3rd on a Wild Pitch. Allie Petonito scored the run. She had singled to start the inning.
West Haven regained the lead in the bottom of the 3rd 2-1 on an rbi single from Paige Beurer.
Guilford took the lead in the top of the 5th inning 4-2. Two runs were driven in by Addie Smith who had a triple and the 3rd run scored on an error.
West Haven scored a run in the bottom of the 5th on an rbi double from Julianna Petruzziello.
The Blue Devils completed the comeback in the bottom of the 7th inning.
A single by Petruzziello started the inning. She was forced at 2nd base by Paige Beurer. But Neve Krajcir singled to put runners on 1st and 2nd. Shyanne Raccio singled to drive in Beurer and tie the game at 4-4 and Holley Waibel(2 hits) singled in the game winning rbi to give West Haven the 5-4 win. West Haven is 9-7, Guilford 7-10.
It was yet another gem that I had a chance to Broadcast.
