Shelton, the #8 seed, defeated the #9 seed, East Haven, 40-38 in the 1st Round. The Gaelettes used their height advantage to gain the victory. They will need to use it again.
Sheehan, the #1 seed, had a 1st Round bye. They also boast a tall front line. The battles down low should be fantastic.
The winner advances to the Semifinals on Monday. They will meet the winner of the Hamden/Mercy game.
