Wednesday's Broadcast - HS Hockey - Milford Coop at Amity and what a game it was. How many great games have I seen at the Bennett Rink over the years. Wednesday's game was no exception.
Scoreless going into the 3rd Period, Milford scored on a goal by Kyle Kosh on the Power Play.
But Amity was not done either, getting the tying goal a few minutes later from Jason Dittmann. The game ended in regulation tied 1-1.
So we went to Overtime. Just 41 seconds into the OT, Justin Miller tipped in a shot by Jason Dittmann and the Spartans came away with a 2-1 victory. It was a very exciting game with a little bit of everything in it.
Derek Ouellette was outstanding in goal for Milford. Amity outshot Milford 36-17.
Just another night at the Bennett Rink.
