Tuesday's Broadcast - Girls Basketball - Mercy at Sacred Heart Academy
These 2 teams have developed a pretty good rivalry, and it showed in the tough, physical, and intensive play by both teams on Tuesday night.
Sacred Heart Academy got revenge on Mercy, beating the Tigers 47-35. SHA had lost to Mercy earlier in the season 36-31 in Middletown. SHA is 9-1, Mercy is 7-3.
Carina Ciampi had 16 points, Rosa Rizzitelli had 15 points for the Sharks.
Ava Giansiracusa had 17 points and Sophie Hedge had 9 points for the Tigers.
I would like to thank everyone at SHA for welcoming Henry and me to the school. We had a great time.
