The Cleveland Indians intend to trade shortstop Francisco Lindor before Opening Day.
NBA
The NBAPA approved the start date of December 22nd for the 2020-21 season. It will be a 72 game season.
The NBA is also hoping to open arena luxury suites at 25-50% capacity for the upcoming season. The league might also allow fans to sit courtside at a distance of 10-12 feet.
Girls HS Soccer
I made a trip to East Haven - the old Crisafi Field at the Middle School on Thursday - Hand at East Haven on East Haven's Senior Day.
It was a very exciting game. Emily Pycela scored for East Haven in the 1st Half and that goal stood up as the Yellowjackets beat the Hand Tigers 1-0. Great goalkeeping by East Haven's Angelina Munoz. She made 20 saves in the game! East Haven avenged an earlier season loss to Hand. Two good teams put on a good show for me on Thursday.
East Haven is 4-4-2, Hand is 5-3-2.
The Post Season Playoffs begin next week.
