I made a trip to Hamden Tuesday to take in Girls Soccer - Sacred Heart Academy and Sheehan. These 2 teams played to a tie in their first meeting.
Sheehan scored with 12.9 seconds left in the 1st Half on a goal by Leah Best and the Titans led 1-0 at Halftime.
But less than 5 minutes into the 2nd Half, Paige Johnson scored for SHA and the game was tied at 1.
There was plenty of action the rest of the way with both teams getting chances to score, but it was not to be. The Titans and the Sharks played to a 1-1 tie. Two very evenly matched teams. I think if they played 10 times, they might have 10 ties! Two good coaches at the helm, Rob Huelsman for Sheehan and Robert Silvestri for SHA.
I thoroughly enjoyed my day at SHA.

The NFL's Competition Committee will submit a proposal for a 16 team playoff in the event games are lost due to the coronavirus. The format would include the 4 Division winners and 4 Wild Card teams from each conference.
Dallas Cowboys QB Andy Dalton has been placed on the COVID-19 list and will miss Week 9 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
NBA
The NBAPA could vote on the start date for the 2020-21 season Thursday or Friday. The league wants to start December 22nd with a 72 game schedule. The players want to start January 18th with a 60 game schedule.
