In NFL Thursday Night Football, the Atlanta Falcons defeated the Carolina Panthers 25-17. Atlanta led 16-14 at Halftime. The Falcons are 2-6, the Panthers 3-5.
The Chicago White Sox have hired Tony LaRussa as their Manager. LaRussa is 76 years old and becomes the oldest Manager in MLB. Ironically, LaRussa started his managerial career with the White Sox in 1979.
The Detroit Tigers will hire former Astros Manager, AJ Hinch, as their next Manager.

Governor Lamont has warned those playing Hockey this weekend to be very careful. Lamont said Thursday that COVID-19 has spread in and around hockey. Lamont said it may not be exclusive to hockey, but it's possible that some of the regional tournaments has led to infections around the state and New England.
A decision and further guidance could be coming early next week on Winter Sports.
