Back on the Soccer trail Tuesday, I ventured out to Hamden - Girls Soccer -Cheshire at Hamden, both teams coming in with identical 2-1 records. The game did not disappoint. Two very good teams, both have several players with great speed. Despite the rain throughout the 1st Half, the game was exciting.
Cheshire scored first on a goal by Gabriella( I guess they call her Gabby) Tirado, but Hamden tied it on a goal from Lilyana Joseph. Cheshire regained the lead on Gabby Tirado's 2nd goal of the game and Cheshire led 2-1 at Halftime.
Hamden tied it in the 2nd Half on a goal by Tiatianna Jones, but Cheshire scored what proved to be the game winning goal by Senior Ellie Pergolotti. Final Cheshire 3 Hamden 2 . Cheshire is 3-1, Hamden 2-2.
