It was a trip to Foran HS Wednesday to take in a Girls Soccer game - the Spartans of Amity and the Lions of Foran.
There was even some rain during this game but it didn't bother Amity. The Spartans blanked the Lions 5-0.
Audrey Marin opened the scoring with 29:48 left in the 1st Half. Marin is an outstanding player and is on her way to Dartmouth. Martyna Krzysztopik scored with 21:40 left, the first of her 2 goals and Nicole Grosso scored late in the 1st Half to give the Spartans a 3-0 lead at Halftime.
Amity added 2 goals in the 2nd Half as Krzysztopik scored her 2nd goal of the game and Amity added their final tally on an own goal by Foran.
