In MLB Monday, the Yankees continued to roll beating the Phillies 6-3 at Yankee Stadium. Gerrit Cole was the winning pitcher, now 3-0. DJ LeMahieu, Gio Urshela and Brett Gardner all homered for New York.
The Mets salvaged the final game of their series with Atlanta, beating the Braves 7-2. Jacob deGrom was the winning pitcher. He had 10 strikeouts in 6 innings. Wilson Ramos homered for New York as the Mets snapped a 5 game losing streak.
