In MLB Sunday, the Yankees beat the Red Sox 9-7, sweeping the 3 game series. Aaron Judge hit 2 Home Runs, the 2nd one in the bottom of the 8th inning drove in the game winning rbis. Luke Voit also homered for New York. Xander Bogaerts hit 2 Home Runs and Rafael Devers hit 1 Home Run for Boston.
The Mets were blanked 4-0 by the Braves in Atlanta. David Peterson took the loss for the Mets. Jeff McNeil did have 3 hits for New York. Yoenis Cespedes did not show for the game and then told the Mets he was opting out of the 2020 season.
