The Toronto Blue Jays don't have a place to play their Home Games. Canada won't allow them to play there so Buffalo, home of the Blue Jays triple A team, was thought of, but the Blue Jays players aren't thrilled with that choice and want an MLB caliber park. They are now looking at PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Wallingford 2 East Haven 1(9) Nick Velardi was the winning pitcher in relief. Kyle Simmons drove in the game winning rbi in the bottom of the 9th.
Branford 5 West Haven 4(8) Teddy Zabawa was the winning pitcher. Enrique Diaz had 2 hits, scored a run and had an rbi and Mike Virginelli had 2 hits for Branford.
Hamden 19 New Haven 0 Matt Desroches, John D'Errico and Dan Alissi combined on a no hitter for Hamden. Jack Lindberg had 3 hits and 4 rbis while Dillon Pallotto, Jack Wagner and Luis Roman had 2 hits each for Hamden.
One game on the 19u docket Monday, and what a dandy - Hamden(3-3) at Orange(6-3).
Might be a family trip to Brinley Field in Orange Monday night - Brinley Field - site of so many big games over the years - this should be another - Hamden/Orange and me!
