A family trip to Legion Field in Hamden Wednesday night. I like Legion Field. It was a wild game - Wallingford/Hamden.
The Home Team looked pretty good for 6 innings leading 5-2. But then came the 7th. Wallingford rallied for 4 runs to snatch a 6-5 win.
Cam Lachance was the winning pitcher in relief. Lachance also had a double and rbi and then singled home the game winning rbis in the 7th. Not a bad night's work. Kyle Simmons pitched the 7th and got the save.
For Wallingford, Justin Hackett had 3 hits and scored 2 runs, Evan Wilkinson had 2 hits and an rbi, Aidan Weir had 2 hits an rbi and scored a run for Wallingford.
Carson Reynolds and Jeremiah Greenberg each had 2 hits and an rbi for Hamden.

Branford 4 North Haven 0 Mike Virginelli was the winning pitcher
Madison 1 East Haven 0 Matt Carone was the winning pitcher. Ken Nuzzi drove in the only run of the game.
