A family trip to Orange Tuesday night brought a beautiful night, some rain, a delay and of course - Extra Innings!
After 8 scoreless innings, Orange got a run in the bottom of the 9th inning on a bases loaded walk to nip Milford 1-0.
Owen Leszczak was the winning pitcher in relief and drove in the only run of the game by getting a bases loaded walk on a 3-2 pitch. Jack Ranani went the first 5innings and was brilliant. Leszczak went the next 4 - the 2 pitchers combined on a 1 hitter. Tanner Santos added 3 hits for Orange.
John was superb for Milford pitching 7 scoreless innings before departing.
Orange is 4-1, Milford 4-2. The 2 teams battle again Wednesday night in Milford.
