Ivy League Cancels Fall Sports Nothing Until Jan 2021 Rain Cancels CtEBA

The Ivy League has informed its league members that Fall Sports have been canceled. No sports will be played until January 2021. No decision has been made on playing Football in the Spring. The Ivy League is the 1st Div. 1 Conference to make this move.

The NFL will allow its players to opt out of the 2020 season without a penalty.

The Baltimore Ravens have set their seating capacity at M&T Stadium to 14,000, which is 81% cut from the normal capacity of 71,000.

The Chiefs and Packers have also announced their seating capacity will be cut as well.

Stanford University has cut 11 varsity sports from the Athletics Dept.

Rain played havoc with the Wednesday CtEBA schedule. All the games were postponed.

Thursday, however, a couple of games on the schedule: Wallingford at Branford, Orange at Hamden

Wallingford blitzed Branford in their 1st meeting. Branford always seems to play better at Home. I have not seen Wallingford yet - that ends Thursday - Wallingford-Branford - can Branford get a split of the 2 game series - the DeMaios make tracks for Branford High School - and we find out!
