The NBA will return to play July 30th at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. Teams will be allowed to carry a maximum of 17 players on the roster.
The NHL will open training camps on July 10th.
The NFL has informed all 32 teams to continue their virtual off season program through June 26th. The NFL has also prohibited any in-person minicamps for the rest of the month.
The NCAA Football Committee has recommended a 6 week calendar starting July 13th with training camp starting August 7th.
Dozens of advocacy groups have a letter to the NCAA to move the Men's Basketball NCAA Tournament's 1st Round and 2nd Round games out of Boise, Idaho due to a new state law banning transgender women from playing on women's sports teams. The letter will be discussed by the NCAA Board of Governors in August.
The Connecticut Elite Baseball Association will begin play on July 1st. There will be a 19u, 17u, 15u, and 14u division. The league will run to August 6th and there will be a mini State Tournament August 7-9.
