NBA Commissioner Adam Silver is planning to propose a 22 team return to play format to the League's Board of Governors on Thursday. The owners are expected to approve the plan. The NBA is targeting July 31st for a start date.
MLB owners officially rejected the MLB Players Association proposal for a 114 game season. The owners have countered with a 50 game season with players receiving their full prorated salaries. Word has it that the owners would only entertain a longer schedule if major leaguers agree to further pay cuts.
The High School Football Playoff System has come into the limelight again. A proposal from the Connecticut High School Football Alliance, consisting of 5 leagues and over 100 schools, may soon be sent to the CIAC Football Committee.
