Eagles Propose New Rule Change; MLBPA Responds to MLB's 67 Page Proposal

The NFL Philadelphia Eagles have proposed a new rule that would give teams an alternative option to the onsides kick. Teams would have the option of attempting to convert a 4th down and 15 yards from their own 25 yard line. If they get the 15 yards, they keep possession of the ball. If they don't convert, the other team would take possession from wherever the play ended. For the rule to pass, 24 of the 32 owners would have to vote yes.
