MLB will meet with team owners Monday on a conference call to discuss plans for the 2020 season. Some of the items include:
1 80 game schedule
2 beginning the season in July
3 teams to play games against their division and the same geographic division in the other league
4 expanding the postseason from 5 to 7 teams in each league
5 expanding the rosters to 45-50 players
MLB did a Coronavirus Antibody Study and results showed that less than 1% tested positive. Plus 70% of those who tested positive were asymptomatic - meaning they presented no symptoms of having COVID-19.
