Olympic Games Postponed; NBA - Barkley's Test for COVID-19 is Negative

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics have been postponed to 2021. The postponement comes in the wake of Canada and Australia pulling out of the Games. This might set the tone for more countries to pull out as well.

The owners of MLB say the teams will need 4 weeks for the 2nd Spring Training.

NBA

TNT Analyst Charles Barkley, after self-quarantining himself for 48 hours, and was tested for the COVID-19 Virus, got his test results back and they were negative.

Locally

Schools now will remain closed until April 20th.

In my mind, the Spring Sports can be played.

Opening Day for practice - Saturday, April 18th

First Game - possibly Friday, May 1st

Play 12 games in May - by Memorial Day (could easily be done)

No Conference Tournaments

start State Tournament June 1st as CIAC website says - Championships on the 12th and 13th and finished
