The American Legion World Series and the Little League World Series both start on Thursday, August 15th.
The Legion World Series is in Shelby, North Carolina.
Shrewsbury, Mass. is the Northeast Representative. There are 8 teams in the World Series.
The Tournament will conclude on August 20th.
The Little League World Series also starts on Thursday, August 15th and will run to August 25th.
Barrington, Rhode Island is the New England Representative and will play South Riding, Virginia on Thursday, August 15th at 3:00pm.
The Little League World Series takes place in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
