In the Junior Legion State Tournament, Tri-County defeated Hamden 5-4, ending Handen's season.
Tri-County will meet RCP for the State Championship on Sunday at Ceppa Field in Meriden at 1:00pm.
In the Senior Legion State Tournament, Stamford will face Southington starting Friday night for the State Championship. It is a Best 2 of 3 Series.
Little League Baseball(11-12)
Congrats to Madison on winning the State Championship. Madison advances to the New England Regional Tournament in Bristol.
The Region winner advances to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Madison will play Vermont Sunday night at 7pm.
I know it's August, but I will not allow anyone to tell me that Summer is winding down.
