The Junior Legion State Tournament Semifinal Game between Hamden and Tri-County was postponed due to rain. It will be played Thursday night at 7pm at Bethel High School. The winner will advance to the Championship Game on Sunday at Ceppa Field in Meriden.
The Senior Legion Championship Series begins Friday between Stamford and Southington. It is a Best 2 of 3.
In the Little league State Championship Game, winner take all, Madison defeated North Haven 6-0 to advance to the Eastern Regional Tournament in Bristol. Madison will play Vermont Monday night.
The winner of the Regional Tournament advances to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Better weather is forecast for Thursday, so let the Tournaments continue.
