Willy and I made a trip to Wallingford on Thursday night to see Fairfield at Wallingford in a Junior Legion State Tournament Game.
There wasn't a whole lot of offense generated by either team, but Fairfield managed a little more and beat Wallingford 4-2.
Edmund Hogan was the winning pitcher. He allowed 2 runs and just 2 hits and had 9 strikeouts. He also had a single and scored a run for Fairfield. Drew Buckley also had an rbi for Fairfield.
Jacob Bielesz had a single and scored a run for Wallingford.
