The final day of the American Legion regular season has arrived and there is still 1 Playoff Spot remaining in Zone 2 Senior Legion.

North Haven shutout East Haven 5-0. North Haven finishes 18-9.
Zone 2 Senior Legion receives 6 Playoff Spots( 5 teams plus Meriden, since Meriden is a Host City, they automatically get a Playoff Spot.
4 of the other 5 Spots are taken
- Cheshire 2. Hamden 3. North Haven 4. ? 5. Orange 6. Meriden
The #4 seed will be either Wallingford or Branford. Wallingford is 14-11 and Branford is 12-13, but both teams have scheduled Doubleheaders on Thursday. Branford is at Meriden and Cheshire is at Wallingford. If Wallingford loses both games and Branford wins both games, the 2 teams will finish 14-13. Branford would get the Playoff Spot because they have the tie breaker against Wallingford. However, the weather may have the final say on the whole matter.
The State Tournament starts Saturday. So we'll see what happens.
I wouldn't want to have to make the decision. But.............
