I made a solo trip to my old stomping grounds - Morse Park in West Haven
where I played in my Little League days. It was the District 4 Little League Boys 11-12 old Championship pitting Milford and North Haven.
North Haven defeated Milford 5-1. Jordan Higgins was the winning pitcher. He pitched a complete game, giving up 1 run and 5 hits and had 6 strikeouts. It was North Haven's 1st District 4 Championship in 53 years!
North Haven now moves on to the Sectional Tournament.
So we enter the final week of the Legion regular season - the State Tournament begins next weekend - which teams will be there - we'll find out this week
