The Hamden Girls Basketball Team brought home the SCC Tournament Championship defeating East Haven 65-49. It was Hamden's 1st SCC Tournament Title.
Taniyah Thompson had 31 points for Hamden. Asya Brandon added 11 points and Sarah Streete had 10 points for the Green Dragons.
Makenzie Helms led East Haven with 18 points while Taylor Salato had 16 points for the Yellowjackets.

In the 1st Game, the SCC Boys Tournament 1st Round, Hamden beat Sheehan 69-63.
Jayvon Chapman led Hamden with 15 points, while Fabian Cox added 12 points.
Garrett Molampy had 25 points for Sheehan.
Hamden moves on to the Quarterfinals on Saturday to take on Jonathan Law at Branford High School.
