Former New York Yankees closer, Mariano Rivera, was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame on Tuesday.
Rivera is the 1st unanimous selection for the Hall of Fame as he appeared on all 425 ballots that were submitted by the Baseball Writers Association of America.
Along with Rivera, Pitchers Mike Mussina and Roy Halladay were elected as well as DH Edgar Martinez.
