Wednesday's Broadcast of High School Hockey will go down as a Classic.
Branford defeated West Haven 2-0 behind the great goaltending of Branford's Jared Yakimoff. Yakimoff made 49 saves in the victory, several of the spectacular kind. Chris Donadio and Blake Kustra scored the Branford goals.
West Haven Goalie Jared Pliszka was also outstanding in the nets. Pliszka made 31 saves in defeat for the Blue Devils.
