East Haven defeated Hand 59-37. The Yellowjackets outscored the Tigers 16-2 in the 4th Quarter to put the game away. Taylor Salato led East Haven with 19 points. Makenzie Helms added 12 points and Alannah Doheny 11 for East Haven.
Sara Wohlgemuth had 19 points for Hand. It was the opening game of the season for both teams.
