On Thursday, it was a family trip to Seymour to see the #1 team in the state take on the Eagles of Wolcott. It turned out to be a heck of a game.
Wolcott gave the Wildcats all they wanted, but in the end, Seymour prevailed 3-0.
Molly Adamo was the winning pitcher, tossing a 3 hitter with 6 strikeouts. She was the Willy George DeMaio Top Dog of the Game.
Isabella Calabro had an rbi single, Morgan Teodosio had an rbi Sac Fly and a double which was all Adamo needed.
Nicole Antonowicz pitched a great game for Wolcott in defeat, giving up only 4 hits and had 8 strikeouts. She also had 2 hits, a single and a double. This is a very good Eagle team.
